Funeral Services for Mr. Harold F. “Buster” Wisecarver, 88, of Marion, LA. will be held on Wednesday, December 2, 2020 at 2:00 P.M. at Kilpatrick Funeral Home Chapel in Farmerville, LA. A visitation will be held from 12:00 p.m. until service time. Officiating the service will be Bro. Don Reeves under the direction of Kilpatrick Funeral Home of Farmerville, LA. Interment will follow at Union Cemetery in the Sadie Community.
Harold was born April 23, 1932 in Pampa, TX. and passed away Nov. 29, 2020 in Farmerville, LA. He was a veteran serving in the United States Navy and retired from Texas Gas Transmission after 35 years as a welder and operator.
He was preceded in death by his parents, George Wisecarver and mother, Dellie Neunam Wisecarver; his seven siblings, Blanche O’Quinn, Sylvia Rugg, Elizabeth Brumlow, Willis Joe Wisecarver, Georgia Wisecarver, Clyde Wisecarver and Claude Wisecarver.
Left to cherish his memories are his wife of 69 years Marjorie Houser Wisecarver of Marion, LA; daughters, Carol Wisecarver Smith (Glen) of Marion, LA; Jamie Wisecarver Hohlt (Rick) of Ruston, LA; granddaughter, Carla Smith Gates (Jerrel) of Monroe, LA; grandsons, Justin Smith (Christi) of Stonewall, LA; Adam Hohlt (Hillary) of Ruston, LA; granddaughter, Leslie Hohlt of Ruston, LA; great-grandchildren, Caleb Gates, Carter Gates, Noah Wasson, Bennett Smith, Baker Smith, and Piper Newcomb; special friends, L.V. and Jo Towns.
Pallbearers will be Vickey Wisecarver, Tommy Head, Roger Baker, Larry Phillips, Richard Towns, Tony Murray, Danny Cain, and Lee Hicks.
Honorary Pallbearers will be the Dean Baptist Church Men’s Sunday School Class.
