Funeral services for Mr. Harold Ruffino, 87 of West Monroe will be held at 10:00 AM, Monday, November 8, 2010 at St. Paschal's Catholic Church. Father Frank Coens will be officiating. Interment will follow at Mulhearn Memorial Park under the direction of Kilpatrick Funeral Home West Monroe. Mr. Ruffino was born November 29, 1922 in Opelousas, LA and passed away November 4, 2010 in West Monroe, LA. He served in the United States Navy during World War II and he was a retired sheet metal worker and instructor. Mr. Ruffino was a member of St. Paschal's Catholic Church, and was a former member of Our Lady of Fatima. He was a member of Knights of Columbus. Mr. Ruffino was preceded in death by his son, Harold Joseph Ruffino. He was an avid hunter and fisherman. He is survived by his wife; Marie Ruffino; 2 daughters, Brenda Clark and husband Mike and Patricia Dean and husband Danny; 6 grandchildren, Marie Peterson, Marci Wainwright, Mandy Bice, Daniel Dean, Mitchell Dean, and Stephanie Clark and 7 great-grandchildren and 2 sisters. Pallbearers will be Daniel Dean, Mitchell Dean, Michael Wilkes, Max Wainwright, Barry Collins and Chuck Cambre. Honorary pallbearers James Coleman and Leonard Garlington. The family would like to extend a special thanks to the staff at Agape and Hospice and Landmark Nursing Home for their loving care during Mr. Ruffino's illness. Visitation will be held Sunday from 5:00 PM and 8:00 PM at Kilpatrick Funeral Home West Monroe.
