Funeral services for Harold “Joe” Hart, 76 of Woodlands, Texas will be held at 11:00 AM, Thursday. August 18, 2011in the chapel of Kilpatrick Funeral Home West Monroe. Elder Marilyn Soingier will be officiating. Interment will follow at Kilpatrick's Serenity Gardens West Monroe under the direction of Kilpatrick Funeral Home. Joe was born May 13, 1935 in Monroe, LA and passed away in Woodlands, Texas August 14, 2011. The family of Joe Hart would like you to join in the celebration of his life. Joe passed away peacefully after a long illness. He was preceded in his passing by his parents, mother and father, Helen F. Hart and Lonzo D. Hart and brother, Alton Ray Hart. Joe is survived by his brother, Dorian Hart and his wife Louise, daughter, Cynthia Hart and her husband Chuck Rowe, grandchildren Jennifer Myles and Edward Stevens and wife, Cathy, great grandchildren, Zachary Vaught, Alexis Earthman and Danielle Myles. Visitation will be held Thursday from 9:00 AM until service time at Kilpatrick Funeral Home West Monroe.

My husband, Bill Graff, cherished Joe's friendship from schooldays and graduation from OPHS so many years ago. When I married Bill, Joe was part of the package. I too cherished his friendship. When Bill was sick Joe would come out to the catfish farm to visit and take Bill to lunch. Bill looked forward to those visits. May God's grace, compassion and love surround you at this time.
