She was preceded in death by her parents Francisco and Visitacion Grefal Guarda; husband Leonardo T. Pineda; siblings Alton G. Guarda, Rogelio G. Guarda, Francisco G. Guarda, Jr.; step-daughter Alice D. Pineda Ignacio.

Gloria is survived by children Lourdes Pineda Torres and husband Alfredo E. Torres, MD. Of Calhoun, LA, Erna Pineda Melgar and husband Erwin S. Melgar of Australia, Leonardo Guarda Pineda, Jr. and wife Chanda May Pineda of U.A.E.; grandchildren Marc Andrew Torres, Jon Avery Torres, Cris Allen Torres, Eliana Melgar, Eldrick Melgar, Izabel Carmelei Pineda, Iesha Cassandra Pineda; siblings Antonio G. Guarda, Oscar G. Guarda, Melilia Guarda Malvar, Ricarda Guarda Balint.

She is also survived by step-children Arturo D. Pineda and wife Ester C. Pineda, Alice Pineda Ignacio and husband Luis F. Ignacio, M.D. of Virginia, Roberto D. Pineda and wife Nazarina R. Pineda of Virginia; step-grandchildren, Chiarina C. Pineda Piazza and husband Luca Piazza, Antonio P. Ignacio, Alexander P. Ignacio and wife Jessica A. Ignacio, Katrina R. Pineda, Jasmine R. Pineda and Leonardo R. Pineda and wife Lauren P. Pineda; step-great-grandchildren Christopher P. Piazza, Nicholas P. Piazza and Sabrina P. Piazza, Lily Philippa A.
