I am terribly saddened to hear of Ms. Carrey's passing, however, I know her new home is far beyond the Glory our minds can behold. Ms. Carey taught me typing I and typing II at Riser Junior High in 1972 and 1973. She made coming to school a pleasure. Her charisma and happiness, her wit and ability to communicate with us has made a lasting impression on me. I became a Court Reporter and those two years in her typing class definitely set the course for my life. My condolences to the family. She was a very special lady. I'm blessed to have known her.

For 30+ years, the first Christmas card I received every year was from Jean. When her card arrived in the mail, that was my signal that the holiday season had officially begun. I will treasure the memories of our friendship and our many adventures.
Peace of mind is a call away. We're here when you need us most.

My heart is heavy as I think about the good memories of Jean. She really loved line dancing. Our dance group had a lot of good times together. She is with her Lord & Savior now, no more sickness nor pain. My thoughts & prayers go out to the family during this difficult time. May God bless each of you.
