Gloria Garner Hayes

Gloria Garner Hayes, age 88, of Ruston, was born on September 06, 1934, to Oma and Sybil Garner, in Carlyle, TX and passed from this life on January 22, 2023.
Gloria graduated from Carlyle High School, and from there graduated from Steven F. Austin University. She married Ed Kelly in 1956, and they had 3 children. She married Don Bryce Hayes where she gained a stepdaughter. She was a member of the First Baptist Church of Ruston, enjoyed reading, playing cards, and spending time with friends and family.
Gloria Garner Hayes was preceded in death by her parents, Oma and Sybil Garner; her husband, Ed Kelly; husband, Don Bryce Hayes; and son, Mike Kelly.
She is survived by her son, Ron Kelly and wife Mary; their two children, Lori Knox and husband Raymond; their children Zeth and Alison; John Kelly and wife Brooke; Kathy Kelly and her son Cory Campbell and wife Krista; great granddaughter Emma Grace Campbell; Gloria’s stepdaughter Edward and Traci Duncan; grandchildren, Mandi Yates, Bryce Nelson, and Eddie Duncan.

There will be a Graveside Service at a later date. In leu of flowers, donations may be made to First Baptist Church of Ruston, or St. Jude’s Children’s Hospital.
