Funeral services celebrating the life of Ms. Gloria Dawn Street Greer, 78, of West Monroe, LA will be held at 10:00 AM, Saturday, June 2, 2018 at Cheniere Baptist Church, West Monroe. Interment will follow at Cheniere Baptist Church Cemetery. Rev. Zach Anderson and Rev. Bodie Spicer will officiate. Visitation will be held Friday, June 1, 2018 from 5:00 pm until 8:00 pm at the church under the direction of Kilpatrick Funeral Home West Monroe.Gloria was born June 12, 1939 and passed away into the arms of Jesus on May 28, 2018. She was a lifelong member of Cheniere Baptist Church where she served on numerous committees, sang in the choir, served as previous choir director, Sunday School teacher, and Sunday School Director. She retired in May 2012 after 24 years of service as Administrative Assistant to the Director of the City of Monroe Regional Airport. She was a Notary Public. She attended and received a Certificate of Completion from Faith Bible Institute. She loved the Lord and adored her family and expressed that love on a daily basis. People of all ages have been blessed with her Godly wisdom. You never entered or left her house without a hug, kiss and I Love You. To know her was to love her. She always had a smile on her face and a kind word to all she met. She fought a 26 day battle with Acute Myeloid Leukemia. She was preceded in death by her parents, James O. Red Street and Lillie Brown Street; sister, Carolyn Street Bailey Donaldson; brother, James E. Street; half-brother, Billy Wayne Brown; grandson, Joseph David Eppinette.Gloria is survived by her sons, Jeffrey Russell Greer (Michelle), David Othel Greer (Caryn); daughters, Rhonda Greer Blakely (Ricky), and Anita Greer Eppinette (Johnny); six grandchildren, Heather Harnar, Jacob Greer, Sally Howell, Brooke Blakely, Dylan Greer and Devin Greer; 7 great-grandchildren and 3 great-great- grandchildren; brother and sister-in-law, Steven M. and Merry Street; brother-in-law, Ron Donaldson and many nieces and nephews.Pallbearers will be Jacob Greer, Dylan Greer, Devin Greer, Ronnie Harnar, Noel D.
