A memorial service will be held for Gloria Blakeney on Saturday, March 27, 2023 at 11:00 A.M., First Baptist Church, Calhoun, LA.
Gloria G. Blakeney was born November 30, 1942 in Fitzgerald, Georgia and passed away March 19, 2023 in West Monroe.
Gloria was preceded in death by her parents; Ralph and Mary Gaines, her brother David Gaines, and her husband Ronald L. Blakeney. Gloria enjoyed reading, sewing and embroidery, traveling across the states to enjoy new sights and experiences, spending time with friends from First Baptist Church of Calhoun, spending time with her family, and she always loved receiving flowers. She would place them on the kitchen counter for all to see.
Gloria is survived by her children Kyle Blakeney, Sr., Mike and Tanya Blakeney, Ronald Blakeney, II,; grandchildren Kyle Blakeney II, Chris Blakeney, Casey Blakeney, Cody Blakeney, Camden Blakeney, Grayson Blakeney, Hannah and Martin Cody, Nina Howard, Elizabeth and Dylan Stauffer; great-grandchildren Naomi Young, Mason Young, Francis Cody IV and Gunner Danna.
