Funeral service for Glenda Patterson of Monroe will be held at 10:00 AM Saturday, August 8, 2020, in the chapel of Kilpatrick Funeral Home West Monroe with Rev. Nate Barnett officiating.
Glenda was born January 2, 1943 in Monroe, LA and passed away August 5, 2020 in Monroe. She was a long time member of First Baptist Church in Swartz. She was a retired beautician and an avid gardener. Glenda was preceded in death by her parents, Sterling and Josie Lee McClain; son, Robbie Patterson; father and mother-in-law, Fred and Ruby Patterson; brother, John McClain and a sister, Beverly McClain and sister-in-love “Snookie.”
Glenda is survived by her husband, Maurice Patterson; 2 sons Rusty Patterson and wife Sandra, Gary Patterson and wife Elaine; 7 grandchildren, Jennifer Patterson, Neal Patterson, Kay Dudley and husband Zack, McClain Patterson and wife Julie, Steven Patterson, Caroline Patterson and Andrew Patterson; 5 great-grandchildren Karli, Elijah, Elias, Lilly and Jackson; brother-in-law, David Patterson and wife Terry; sisters-in law, Patty Wilhite and Tomi McClain; and a host of nieces and nephews.
Memorials may be made to Gideon International and or Leukemia and Lymphoma Society.
