Kathie Boudreaux Rodrigue left a message on March 24, 2011:
I have known Glenda for 38 yrs, working for her and Harold and taking care of their children. I got in contact with Amy about 1 month ago to get information to where I can contact Glenda. She had been on my mind for quite some time, but didn't know how to get in touch with her. When Amy told me that Glenda has passed away I was in TOTAL shock. I had just lost y mother in December, so I could feel Amy & Hal's pain. It totally made me sick that I didn't even know that. So my prayers go out to the family and friends of Glenda. She was an amazing person. I loved her with all my heart. She was a great friend. She will be sadly missed by me Kathie Rodrigue

Glenda was not only my big Sister she was a best friend.  One I looked up to, one that I leaned on for strength, courage and guidance. A day will not go by that I won't think of my Sister.  I feel she was taken from us to soon, however in my heart I know God has a more important job for her in heaven.  We all love you Sis, until we meet again. Your Little Sister--Sandy

I cannot believe when I walked in last night to work to hear the news the evening after the funeral. I am so sorry. Last week Glenda came through my unit, MICU, and I remember her so clearly that night...her hair was down and she looked so pretty. She had a cup of vanilla flavored coffee with me. We had always talked Harleys, and had planned to get together and ride since we didn't live that far apart. She will forever be in my memory walking through that unit last week. I regret not getting to know her better. She will be greatly missed.

Dear Family,I was deeply sorry to hear of your loss. Glenda was a wonderful, gifted woman with a deep love and sincere careing of people. Glenda touched many people in so many ways. My daughter had the honor of having Glenda as an instructor when she was in nursing school and then again as her superior on her first job as a nurse at St. Francis. She became a loving part of our family. We are blessed to have been touched by her love, her intelligence, her wonderful humor and her beautiful smile. She will live on in those that were fortunate to have crossed her path over the years. She will be missed. My heart and prayers go out to your family.
