Funeral services for Glenda Bearden, 78, of Farmerville, LA., will be held on February 15, 2024 at The First Assembly of God of Farmerville. A visitation will be held from 1:00 pm until service time of 2:00 p.m. Officiating the service will be Bro. Robbie Lawson and will be under the direction and care of Kilpatrick Funeral Home of Farmerville. Interment will follow at Sardis Cemetery in Farmerville. Glenda was born on June 25, 1945 in Wyoming and passed away on February 9, 2024 in Farmerville, LA.

Glenda had retired after many years from the First United Bank of Farmerville (Origin Bank). She then went on to work part-time at the Dean of Flowers and Kilpatrick Funeral Home. Glenda loved working with people, knew everyone and was heartbroken when she had to slow down due to her health.  She was a member of the First Assembly of God in Farmerville.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Von Bearden and her parents, Claude and Esther Ward Hester.

Survivors include her sister, Sue Brown, sons, Mark Bearden, Tim Bearden, grandchildren, Heather Bearden (Blaine Martin)of Ruston, LA; Tanner Bearden of West Monroe, LA; Jessica Bearden (Cody Daniels) of West Monroe, LA; Destiny Bearden of West Monroe, LA; and Joshua Neathery of North Carolina; great grandchildren, Farrah, Fallyn, Austyn, Beau, Paisley, Abby, Easton, Audrey, Josiah and Brooklyn.
