Funeral services for Mr. Glen Edward Neathery Sr. “Cookie Man”, 59, of West Monroe, LA will be held at 10:00 AM, Wednesday, September 15, 2010 in the chapel of Kilpatrick Funeral Home West Monroe. Rev. Danny Chance will officiate. Interment will follow at Mulhearn Memorial Park Monroe, LA under the direction of Kilpatrick Funeral Home West Monroe. LA. Mr. Neathery was born February 13, 1951 in Winnsboro and passed away September 13, 2010 in West Monroe. He was employed with Harold Neck/Jack's Cookies as a distributor for over 32 years and was currently employed with Mrs. Baird's Breads. Mr. Neathery loved his grandkids and spending time with them. He is survived by his wife of 42 years, Betty Neathery; a son, Glen Neathery Jr. and wife April; a brother, Jimmy Neathery and wife Patsy; 3 sisters, Margie Morrison, Lucille Duffy and Sue Neathery; grandchildren, Alex, Grant, Jamison and Madison Neathery. Pallbearers will be Huey Neathery, Tim Neathery, Jim Neathery, John Harrell “Nubbin”, Mike Perot and Mac Gordon. Honorary pallbearer will be Howard Neathery. Visitation will be Tuesday from 5:00 PM until 8:00 PM at Kilpatrick Funeral Home West Monroe.
