Graveside services for Ginger Sue Kelley,  will be held at 2:00 P.M., Wednesday, September 8, 2021 at New Hope Cemetery in Gaars Mill, Louisiana under the direction of Kilpatrick Funeral Home ~ West Monroe. Visitation will be held from 1:00 P.M. until 2:00 P.M. at the cemetery.

Ginger was born on March 2, 1936 in Winnfield, Louisiana and passed away on September 5, 2021 in West Monroe, Louisiana. She grew up in Dodson, Louisiana and later moved to West Monroe and became a member of Lea Joyner United Methodist Church. Ginger retired from BellSouth and later enjoyed many years of in-home childcare that impacted the lives of numerous children. She will be remembered as a strong and independent lady who served others in times of need. Ginger was fun loving and quick to laugh with a sense of humor and storytelling that always entertained her family and friends. She was preceded in death by her husband, Ronald Wayne Kelley; parents, Roy and LaVera Walker; brothers, Ray Walker and Jerry Walker.

Ginger is survived by her son, Bobby Yelverton; special grandson, Brandon Gray; step-son, Ronald Wayne Kelley, Jr.; step-grandchildren, Piper Ramsey, Jade Kelley, Lyla Kelley, Donovan Ramsey; brothers-in-law, Clayton Kelley, Lyle Kelley, Steve Kelley, David Kelley; sisters-in-law, Theresa Wallace and Susan McKay;  many other cherished family and friends.
