Memorial services for Geraldine “Gerry” Sanderson will be held on Saturday, November 27, 2010 at 3:00 PM at the Kingdom Hall of Jehovah's Witnesses, Hwy 15, Winnsboro, Louisiana. Officiating will be Michael Gray. Gerry was born March 15, 1939 and passed away November 14, 2010. She was 71 and was one of Jehovah's Witnesses for 57 years. Geraldine is survived by her loving husband of 55 years, Malcolm Sanderson; her daughter, Juawanna Burson and husband Jerry; her son, Stephen Sanderson; and her daughter Lori Andregg and husband Nick. “Grammy” also leaves behind her most precious joys – her grandson Blane and her granddaughter Taylor. She has also left behind two special sisters-in-law, Shirley Edwards and Melba Sills, along with nieces, nephews, cousins and friends too numerous to name. In lieu of flowers please make donations to “Watchtower” for the worldwide work of Jehovah's Witnesses, at Watchtower, c/o Treasurer's Office, 25 Columbia Heights, Brooklyn, NY 11201-2483; the American Cancer Society or the American Heart Association.

Gerry never gave up on me.family either.I am going to miss her,we will meet again..

Dearest Sanderson family, Please know that you are on my mind and in my prayers for Jehovah to comfort you until you are together again. Over the past few days I have been thinking of memories I have of Gerry and all of you. They were such happy times full of fun and laughter. I look forward to more times like that in paradise. In the meantime, pour out your heart to Jehovah. He is missing her too and longing to bring her back to all of you.

You all have our deepest sympathy and love - nothing can happen to any of us that Jehovah can't and won't undo in that paradise soon to come. We'll remember you all in our prayers!

I'll always remember Geraldine because she was my Baptism partner in New York at the 1953 Convention, 57 years ago. She was always in such good spirits and we have had lots of good memories together through the years. I will miss her so much.

Peace of mind is a call away. We're here when you need us most.

To all of you, Gerri√É¬≠s dear family, we extend our love and understand your sorrow. She was such a sweet, sweet lady. And, she did love you all so very much. Gerri had a wonderful way of making each person feel special, as she would genuinely greet you each time you would meet. Please, know that we are thinking of you and praying for you at this time. So many of us not only have wonderful memories√É¬≥but we also have wonderful keepsakes that Gerri crocheted. Each time we pull that creamy white afghan across our laps, we will think of our dear sister. And√É¬ñ perhaps in the New System she can share her skills with me. Love,

You know I think my favorite memories of Gerry were when we always see each other she would act like she didnt remember me i think she was acting and then she would give me a huge hug. It always caught me off guard...So now I cant wait to see her again and for her to do the exact same thing. Steve and I often spent times talking about our parents and the things they do. You could always tell how much the family loved each other. Guys - whatever you need please let us know. Tissues, a laugh, brownies anything. We love you all so much!! It's good to have the hope of the resurrection. What would we do without that knowledge, however it still hurts. I know the pain and I feel your pain. I will keep you and Jerry part of my prayers. Agape Love

What can I say about my mom. There was absolutely no one like her. While she was sick, I tried to make her smile by telling her to go to her "happy place". She said her happy place was with her kids. She always put us first. One of my fondest memories was in Colorado one Sunday afternoon. We came home from the Kingdom Hall to find the living room full of presents. She had been buying, wrapping and hiding gifts for months. After we got in the car to go to the meeting that morning, she ran back in the house and put them all out to surprise us later. I'll never forget that day, nor the joy on her face as she watched us open each and every package. She was a wonderful person and a great mom. I'll miss her dearly while waiting to see her again in Jehovah's promised new world.

I will miss you Aunt Geraldine, love Andrew, Happy Walker's Grandson.

Gerry-D started my love to be in boots,Every time I put on my boots I rember the red&wight baby boots I still have that she gave me.As a kid I'd play the Killer to her Geraldine,LOL Plip Willson. the key roll she played in helping me live my dream of being a truck driver. To Malcolm, Juawanna, Steve, Lori, Blaine and Taylor, aunt Geraldine as I always called her was such a good person and loving individual. She was kind funny and always nice to linda and I. We will miss her much. She lived with and through so many things with much courage and strength and for that I know she had jehovah backing and support. In time we will see her again.Linda and I look forward to seeing her and all our families in much better conditions.Love always to your entire family. Jeff and linda

It is so sad to lose family especially someone who was such a fun and loving person. She could always make you laugh. I'll never forget hearing her "beauty shop" re- enactments. Seeing her again in beautiful paradise out of pain and ready to enjoy life again is really going to be a privilege! Sorry for your pain you'll all be in our prayers. Lv ya kat

SOME OF MY MOST FOND CHILDHOOD MEMORIES ARE OF GERALDINE AND HER FAMILY AT CONVENTIONS. I WILL ALWAYS REMEMBER HER RENDITION OF "KILLER". LOVE TO FAMILY AND LOOK FORWARD TO THE PARADISE EARTH WHEN WE CAN SEE ALL OF OUR LOVED ONES AGAIN.
