Graveside services for George Adam Moore of Monroe, Louisiana will be at 2:00 P.M. on Sunday, April 28, 2024 at Hall – Rhymes Cemetery, Monroe. Bro. Mark Parker will officiate. Visitation will be from 1:00 P.M. until time of service.
Mr. Moore was born July 25, 1934, in Roberline, Louisiana and went to be with the Lord on April 25, 2024. He completed basic training at Fort Chaffe, Arkansas, in September of 1954, where he served as a mechanic in the Army for 8 years. Mr. Moore retired from operating heavy equipment in Monroe. He was a member of Harvest Church in West Monroe. Mr. Moore was preceded in death by his wife of 59 years, Elsie Lee “Viola” Moore; and parents Peter and Mae Moore.
Mr. Moore is survived by his brother Johnny Moore; sons, Mike Brinson, Kenny Brinson and his wife Valerie; grandchildren, Chad Brinson and his wife Karen, Krissy Parker and her husband Mark, Brittany Brinson, Brandy Brinson, Brittany Golson Smith, Matthew Matherne, Van David Matherne, and Ally Matherne; 8 great-grandchildren; numerous nieces and nephews; along with many other cherished family and friends.
Pallbearers will be Kenny Brinson, Mike Brinson, Chad Brinson, Philip Brinson, Jacob Brinson and Gabe McClanahan.
