Funeral services for Mr. Gary D. Johnston, 59, of West Monroe, will be at 10:00AM on Tuesday, July 3, 2007, in the Chapel of the Kilpatrick Funeral Home of West Monroe with Rev. Don Wright officiating. Interment in Sharon Cemetery in Sikes, La. under the direction of the Kilpatrick Funeral Home of West Monroe. Born September 9, 1947, in Sikes, La. and died July 1, 2007 in Minden, La. Mr. Johnston was a Retired Sergeant Major in the U. S. Army serving in Vietnam and Desert Storm. Mr. Johnston loved being outdoors whether he was fishing or hunting. He loved spending time with family and friends. Survivors include his brothers; Rodney Johnston of Houston, TX, Billy Johnston of Monroe, LA; sisters, Flo Johnston of Calhoun, LA, Lois Wright of West Monroe, LA, Marilyn Miller of West Monroe, LA. Gary was also survived by numerous nieces and nephews and friends. Visitation will be Monday from 5:00 PM until 8:00 PM at Kilpatrick Funeral Home West Monroe, LA.
