Funeral services for Gail Hightower Duke will be held at 10:00 A.M., Saturday, May 21, 2022 at Kilpatrick’s Serenity Gardens Open-Air Chapel Mausoleum.
Gail was born May 16, 1944 and passed away May 18, 2022. She was a life-long resident of West Monroe and a bookkeeper at West Monroe Livestock Auction for many years. Gail loved cooking for family and friends and enjoyed family gatherings. Her favorite place was sitting in a chair on the beach listening to the waves. Gail loved the outdoors, fishing, boating and gardening. She was preceded in death by her parents James and Claudine Hightower; sister, Cheryl Herndon.
Gail is survived by her husband, Danny Duke Jr.; children, Jamie Brooks, Ken Berry and wife Michelle, Kim Moore and husband Wayne, Danny Duke and wife Lee, step-son, Michael Duke; sister, Barbara Scalia; sister-in-law, Mary Jo Waller; 11 grandchildren and 8 great-grandchildren.
