Dear Judy, I just found out about Freddy, and I am very sorry. Freddy was one of my professors and mentors at Texas A&M. I donít know if you recall, but I used buy home-made whole wheat bread from you at A&M. Freddy touched the lives of so many people, and we will always cherish our memories of him. My thoughts and prayers are with you and your family, Kamyar Mahboub

Judy and girls, This is very hard for me to write because I only see Freddy as alive and laughing. I choose to remember him the way he was in McGehee High. I cannot know how much you all grieve for him but just remember, nothing is ever lost when you know where it is and we know Freddy is with his Jesus. I'm praying for peace beyond our understanding for you.

Judy and Family: I just wanted to let you know how much I enjoyed being friends with Freddie. I really did not know him well until we shared that apartment in Fayetteville while we were all students at the University of Arkansas. We had some great times together, especially when Mari came to visit from Ouachita. Through the years Mari and I have always appreciated both of you and your warm hospitality. We will miss Freddie, especially his sense of humor. Our thoughts and prayers are with you and your family and will be forever.
Peace of mind is a call away. We're here when you need us most.

Dear Family, Dr. Roberts impacted my life in a very positive way. Not only did he provide me with a project that included a stipend to work on while I was in Grad school, but he also was a good leader that helped me be prepared to leave school and take on a positive role in our society. He seemed to love his work, and could talk about the day to day things just as easily. I am lucky to have had him as one of my professors I was a student in his very first class at LA Tech. I pray that God will provide you peace and comfort during this time.

I graduated in the spring of 2005 and was fortunate to have Dr. Roberts as my faculty advisor, capstone leader, and friend. I kept in touch with him after graduation and never expected to see this day. He definately deserved the Professor of the Century award, as he was without a doubt the most professional, caring, and admired faculty member in the program. He will be very missed.
Peace of mind is a call away. We're here when you need us most.

Fredda M. Valencino left a message on March 19, 2007:
Dear Judy and Family, You all have my deepest heartfelt sympathy and love. When I learned that Freddy had gone Home, I immediately thought of verses from the Book of Sirach Catholic New American Bible~~~ 6:5 & 6~~~A faithful friend is a sturdy shelter;he who finds one finds a tresure. A faithful friend is beyond price, no sum can balance his worth. 37: 22~~~When a man is wise to his people's advantage, the fruits of his knowledge are enduring. 44: 14 &15~~~Their bodies are peacefully laid away, but their name lives on and on. At gatherings their wisdom is retold, and the assembly proclaims their praise. Freddy touched so many of our lives simply by the way in which he lived his. I will cherish every memory of him; I will miss his wit and laughter. With love, Fredda
