Mrs. Frances was a special member of Temple Baptist Church sharing her love of Christ with everyone. Every member of our family was touched by her kindness. My sweet Frances who has been our leader and director of our family group. I will miss your smile, graciousness, kindness, and the great way you had with making everyone feel special. I have smiled several times thinking of the Heavenly reunion you have had. I know Aunt Ruth asked you tell her about the family. Rest in peace and be among the heavens in the most perfect place in the world. I can promise you will not be forgotten but remembered with love and many fun memories. May May

I remember Frances from school days in Bernice. I remember seeing her at the family store and in the yard at their home when I was delivering the newspaper. I never remember seeing her after she graduated from high school. I know she was well thought of and that she will be missed. So sorry for the passing of Frances.
Dr. John Maxwell left a message on August 14, 2020:
To the Burford family: our thoughts and prayers are with you as we mourn the loss of a sweet soul. Miss Frances always greeted our family with a smile and a friendly word each Sunday as we entered the church where she was a faithful greeter. She walked the Christian walk, not just talked it. Concern for others, not herself, and service for the Lord. We will miss her!

So many wonderful memories of our friendship with Frances. She went out of her way to befriend the "out of town" parents and kids at Cedar Creek. Kathy, Hal and family, know that my prayers are with you. I know it hurts but I pray that you will come to feel God's healing touch. Much love.
