Everett was a fierce young boy with the spirit of a warrior, our brave and strong little lion. He spent 1 year of his 16 months alive in the hospital fighting through sicknesses and diseases. Even through his trials, Everett remained such a happy baby and always gave the biggest smile and the sweetest laugh to those dear to his heart. Without ever saying a word, Everett touched the hearts and lives of people all over the world. May we all view Everett’s story as an example as to how we should use our lives for God’s greater good.
Everett is survived by his parents Evan and Summer McCurry; grandparents Lonnie, Jr. and Patti McCurry, Randy and Suzie Frost, Lance and Tina Otwell; great-grandparents Lonnie, Sr. and Nell McCurry, Ginny Evans, Margie Gregory; and a host of extended family members.
Everett was preceded in death by his great-grandparents; Ron Gregory, Everett and Loraine Otwell, Scottie Evans, Helen Sue Frost and Blenda Suggs.
The family would like to thank Arkansas Children’s Hospital in Little Rock, Dr. King, Dr. Eble, and Dr. Sieb. The whole care team gave Everett a chance and cared for him like he was their own. The family would also like to thank the thousands who have fervently prayed for and supported them during this time.
The family asks that those attending the service wear shades of blue or happy colors in celebration of Everett’s life.
