Funeral Services for Ms. Elsie Ruth McClung, age 91, of Sterlington, LA, will be Friday, September 29, 2023, at 10:00 A.M. at Kilpatrick Funeral Homes in Ruston.  Officiating will be Bro. Ron Lowe, with interment to follow at Kilpatrick’s Memorial Gardens under the direction of Kilpatrick Funeral Homes.  Visitation will be Thursday, September 28, 2023, at Kilpatrick Funeral Home in Ruston, from 5:00 – 7:00 P.M.

Ms. Elsie is preceded, in death, by her parents; two sisters; three brothers; her husband, Herman McClung; her son, Herman “Mac” McClung, Jr.; and her daughter Pamela Ruth Cannon.

She is survived by her daughter, Sheila King and husband Mike, of Sterlington, LA; her brother, Sonny Parker of Grayson, LA; grandchildren, Kara Smelkoff and husband Robbie of Frisco, TX, Ryan Collins and Leslie of Bossier, LA, Rance Collins and wife Jana of Cabbott, AR, Joe Henry and wife Kate of Sterlington, LA, Jason Beauvais and Heather of Sterlington, LA, Elizabeth Beauvais of Sterlington, LA; great grandchildren, Lauren Collins of Ruston, LA, Kristian Collins of Ruston, Isabella Ammons of Frisco, TX, Catherine Ammons of Frisco, TX, Victoria Manget of Canada, Cameron Collins of Ruston, Caroline Ammons of Frisco, TX., Grant Beauvais of Sterlington, LA, Kier Henry of Sterlington, LA, Michael Henry of Sterlington, LA, Zach Beauvais of Sterlington, LA, and Rylee Weeks of Sterlington, LA; five great great grandchildren; and a host of nieces, nephews, and other family and friends.

Pallbearers will be Mike King, Rance Collins, Joe Henry, Jason Beauvais, Grant Beauvais, and Rylee Weeks.  Honorary Pallbearers will be other grandsons.
