Strength...Determination...Laughter...Kindness....These words all describe Aunt Ree. The winter after daddy died, (her brother), I got a call from my mom. She said, “Guess who just showed up at here”. It was Aunt Ree and Uncle Sant with a load of firewood. They didn’t know if she needed or not. They just unloaded it on her porch. This is an example of her heart. She had a twinkle in her eye and a laugh that made children love her. She and my daddy shared that trait. He loved children and they loved him. We loved this special woman. Don’t you know she, Uncle Sant, and the rest of the family are having a big party in heaven!!!

Heaven has gain a wonderful lady. I’m so honored to have known her. She was an amazing woman and a grandmother figure to so many. As a young girl I would spend the majority of my time at the Bearden’s house where me and Brooke would find a lot of trouble to get into and it would never fail we would always go to her house where she would feed us a snack and had dominos out on the table. She had the tightest hugs and gave us the sweetest kiss on the check. It’s hard not to be saddened by the loss of someone so special but happy to say she impacted my life and glad she is in a better place.
