Officiating the service will be Rev. Rolly Walker under the direction of Kilpatrick Funeral Home of Ruston. Mrs. Payton was born February 23, 1916 and passed away September 28, 2007. Mrs. Payton was a member of Trinity United Methodist Church in Ruston. She was preceded in death by her husband Wilson Payton. She is survived by daughters: Charlotte Heathman and husband Frank of Washington, Ms., and Margaret Ann Williams and husband R.B. of Ruston; son: James Payton and wife Ollie of Ruston; grandchildren: Elizabeth Heathman, James Frank Heathman, Roberta Jones, Clint, and Mark Williams; nine great grandchildren and numerous nieces and nephews.
