Elizabeth Berry passed away surrounded by her loving family and friends on Saturday, September 28, 2013 in Monroe, LA. A visitation will be held from 11:00A.M. until 1:00P.M. on Monday, September 30, 2013 at Beth's home, 2015 Pargoud Boulevard in Monroe. Funeral Services will be held at 11:00 A.M. on Tuesday, October 1, 2013 at First United Methodist Church in St. Joseph, LA with burial immediately following at the Newellton Legion Memorial Cemetery in Newellton, LA. The family is honored to have Mr. Patrick Williams, a close family friend, conduct the services, assisted by Rev. Peggy Foreman. Services are under the direction of Kilpatrick Funeral Homes, Monroe, LA. Beth was born on February 27, 1956, to Burton Oliver and Billie Jo Sadler Berry. She graduated from Tensas Academy, Louisiana State University, LSU School of Dentistry, and the Art Institute of Houston, TX. Following a 20 year career as a dental hygienist, Beth pursued her dream and obtained her ASID certification as an Interior Designer. She moved to Monroe, Louisiana, in 1999 where she was recognized for her outstanding design talent. Beth was an avid LSU Tiger football fan and a devoted friend. She was preceded in death by her father, Burton Oliver Berry. She is survived by her mother, Mrs. Billie Jo Sadler Berry of Monroe; her sister, Jan Berry Burnside and her husband, Frank R. Burnside, Jr. of Newellton, LA; her niece, Berry Jane Burnside of Baton Rouge, LA; and her nephew, Rob Burnside and his wife, Vaughn of Newellton, LA; and her beloved cat, Kitty Boo. Serving as pallbearers will be Joey Haddad, Dr. Howard John, James Murphy, Gary Graham, Tommy Zentner, Jay Hardwick and Brooks Watson, all of Monroe and Rob Lancaster of Abita Springs. Honorary pallbearers are Dr. George Pope of Orlando, FL, Buddy Hendrix of St. Joseph, Dr. Mike Barraza of Monroe and Mack Lancaster of Oak Grove.
