Funeral Services for Mrs. Elizabeth Ambrose, age 81, of Pearl MS, formerly of Ruston, will be held on Monday, June 7, 2021 at 11:00 A.M. at the Douglas Church. Visitation will be held at the church from 10 A.M. till time of service. Rev Jeremy Jones and Rev. Gene Amason, II will officiate with burial to follow in the Douglas Cemetery.
Mrs. Ambrose was born on June 8, 1939 in Lincoln Parish and passed away on June 5, 2021 in Flowood, MS. She was a member of the Douglas Church and worked as a PBX operator for Lincoln General Hospital for over 20 years. She was preceded in death by her parents: Lillie Mae and Jerry Andrews, Sr.; husband: James H. Ambrose; and brothers: Jerry Andrews, Jr. and Jack Andrews.
She is survived by her son: Todd Ambrose and wife Mischa of Pearl, MS; grandsons: Dustin Ambrose and wife, Haylee; Taylor Ambrose and fiance’, Taylor Gilmore; great granddaughter: Piper Ambrose all of Pearl, MS. Also, siblings: Frances Elliott of Ruston; Judy McCarley of Ruston; and Bill Andrews of Abilene, TX; and numerous nieces, nephews, and other family and friends.
Pallbearers will be Dustin Ambrose, Taylor Ambrose, Jerry Touchstone, Dwain Elliott, Andy Gibson, and Scott Duggan.
