I remember Mr. Williams for many years sharing steak and baked potatoes on a Friday night along with Mrs. Williams and Linda with me. What a wonderful family. I know Linda will miss the two of them terribly. Much love, Patti

My sincere condolences to Weldon's daughter Linda and entire family. Weldon served in the Navy with my father, Ray Bennett. They remained lifelong friends. There was no friendship my father treasured more than Weldon's. He was a friend to the entire Bennett family. A fine man with a good sense of humor. I shall mourn Weldon Williams. Steve Bennett

I was so sorry to hear the news of Weldon's passing. Weldon was one of my father's Ray Bennett best friends. Weldon and my dad met in the Navy during WWII and remained friends for life. Weldon and Dorothy would sometimes visit us in San Diego, and one of my fondest memories of childhood was visiting the Williams family in Louisiana when I was 10 years old. Weldon and Dorothy were so kind and welcomed us into their home. They took us on an unforgetable river trip in their houseboat. Weldon was a wonderful craftman and made miniature oak chairs for my children when they were small which we still have. I know this kind, gentle man will be missed by all who had the pleasure to know him.

I will always remember my Uncle Weldon for his cows and fishing. He and Aunt Dot were like my second parents. The memories I've made with both will never be forgotten.

I met Welden in San Diego during WW2.He was a friend of my brother Ray and spent many nights at our home plus day's. MOTHER GOT UP EARLY MOST DAYS TO FIX BREAKFAST FOR THEM. DOROTHY CAME OUT AND MARRIED WELDEN IN SAN DIEGO.My parents treat them as part of our family. My children and I have also spent many happy hours at their homes after the war. Welden and Dorothy were like a brother and sister to me. They will surely be missed and also leave an empty place in my heart. God Bless them and their familys.Much love Wilma
