Funeral services for Edna H. Audirsch, 91, of West Monroe will be held today, Tuesday, July 5th, 2011 at 10:00AM at the Assembly of West Monroe with Rev. Otis Moore and Rev. Butch Pilcher officiating. Interment will follow at Beulah Cemetery, Calhoun, under the direction of Kilpatrick Funeral Home West Monroe. Mrs. Audirsch was born November 23, 1919 in Calhoun LA to James and Vedie Hodge Hinton. She went to be with the Lord on Sunday, July 3, 2011. During WWII she was an aircraft sheet metal worker at Selman Field. Edna retired as a cafeteria manager from Crosley Elementary. She was a member of the Assembly of West Monroe and the Prime Timers, an accomplished seamstress, artist, one of the best cooks in the world and a loyal friend to many. She was loved and admired by everyone that knew her. Preceding Mrs. Audirsch in death was her husband of 56 years, Lenward Audirsch, who passed away in 1990. She is survived by two sons, Gary Audirsch and wife, Joyce, and Kenny Audirsch and wife, Pam; five grandchildren, Gary Neill Audirsch, Tammie Williams and husband, John, Karl D. Audirsch, Jason Audirsch and wife, April, Brandon Audirsch and wife, Brittni; and three great grandchildren, Ethan and Easton Williams, and Trinity Audirsch; as well as a host of very special friends. Pallbearers are Jason, Brandon, and Gary Neill Audirsch, Jim Knight, Larry Cash, and John Ashbrook. Visitation will be 5:00~8:00PM on Monday, July 4th, at Kilpatrick Funeral Home West Monroe.
