Although we have had our own health issues within the McGehee family, it does not compare with your loss. Only Jesus Himself knows of your grief and of your need of comfort. I am sad to not have been physically with you at the wake or funeral sometimes I wish I could be split to be in more than one place at a time but my thoughts for you have continued. He never failed to encourage, challenge, guide, direct and even push me in directions to excell academically and in service to the university and agriculture. All of us that passed through the College of Life Science in the early 1970's owe him a debt of gratitude. I have thought of him often over the past 36 years since my graduation. I will continue to do so with gratitude for his guidence and example.
