I just received notice of Dr. Foxworths passing. He was my advisor in the Fifth Year Program at Louisiana Tech and he impacted my life more than any other Professor I ever had. The quarter I graduated, Dr. Foxworth was also retiring, and he gave me many of the books in his personal libray which still bear the "CL Foxworth" stamp on them. Most importantly, I remember Dr. Foxworth as a Man of God and I find great comfort that he is at peace with his Savior.

I loved Dr Foxworth so much. He was a wonderful teacher and a true man of God. I can hear him laugh now. My children each have sweet memories of him as he and Mrs. Lois served at St Rest as interim for many years. Luke called him Dr “Foxworthy” Dr Fox was my advisor in college and one of the best teachers I ever had. Mrs. Lois, I cannot imagine the depth of your loss. He adored you! It was a beautiful thing to hear him speak of his love! I am so thankful that I knew this giant of a man. He left a mark on many and I am proud to have known him! What a happy reunion he is having in Heaven!
