Jimmy Elee officiating. Interment will follow in the Furlow-Knighten Cemetery under the direction of the Kilpatrick Funeral Home of West Monroe. Mrs. Richardson was born February 25th, 1920, in Clinton, TN, and passed away January 24th, 2008, in Elm Grove, LA. A long-time resident of West Monroe, Mrs. Richardson was of the Methodist faith. She was a devoted and loving mother, grandmother, and great grandmother and her hobbies were reading and working puzzles. Preceding her in death were her 2 husbands, Samuel J. Knighten and Thomas Richardson; 3 brothers, Charles, Ruel, and Paul Jennings; and a grandson, Richard Lamar Herrington.Survivors include 2 daughters, Shirley Rae Walker and Barbara Gail Futch and her husband, William; 3 sons, Terry Lee Knighten, Sammy Knighten and wife, Ann, and Kenneth Wayne Knighten and wife, Elaine; 2 sisters, Ruth Cecil and Louise Walker; 2 brothers, Zenith and Sam Jennings; 10 grandchildren, Terri Lynn, Mary Ann and Sammy Joe Knighten, Dorothy McMillen, Melanie Knighten, Dawn Mendez, Rene? Branch, Lena Ann Harris, Dorothea Peterson, and Donna Flores; 17 great grandchildren, Thomas and Rita Herrington, Richard Roberts, La Shae? Branch, Kristi and Savannah Knighten, Michael, Ashley, and Daniel Norton, Lance Mendez, Donnie Harris, Randy, Lora, and Hollie Nelson, Jessica Peterson, Barbara-Ann Flores, and Tamara Hastings; and numerous nieces and nephews.Great grandsons will serve as pallbearers and include: Donnie Harris, Randy Nelson, Tommy Herrington, Richard Roberts, Michael Norton, and Jonathon McMillan.Visitation will be Sunday evening from 5:00PM until 8:00PM at Kilpatrick Funeral Home of West Monroe.The family would like to extend their grateful appreciation to David Harris.
