On October 17, 2019 Dorothy Jean Davis passed away at the age of 94. She was born in Cambridge City, Indiana on August 14, 1925. Memorial Services will be held at 1:00 P.M., Thursday, October 24, 2019 at St Patricks Episcopal Church, 1712 Wellerman Road, West Monroe, La. with Father Whitfield Stodghill presiding.Dorothy was a was a member of St. Patrick Episcopal Church in West Monroe and a homemaker who loved spending time and traveling with family and friends. She also loved the Indianopolis 500 Race. Dorothy is preceded in death by her husband, Charles Davis of Ada, OK; parents, Ray and Hazel Lamberson of Connersville, IN; and sister, Selma Brown of Connersville, IN.Dorothy is survived by three children Nicholas C. Joest & wife Elizabeth, Gerald R Joest & wife Kathleen; and Lourie J. Dove & husband Tony; 10 Grandchildren; 15 Great Grandchildren; 2 Great Great Grandchildren; many other cherished family and friends.In lieu of flowers, please consider a donation to the charity of your choice in Dorothy memory.Kilpatrick Funeral Homes ~ West Monroe

My Aunt Dorothy was by far and away my favorite aunt...when i was with her and her family i was home...Connersville...Indian River...Oklahoma...it did not matter...she treated me as if i was one of her own...and i always felt so...we all enjoyed some fantastic times together...i will miss you Aunt Dorothy and love you always...ps. my heart goes out to Nick, Cricket & Lourie...
