Ann, You don't know me, but my parents owned a grocery story near Delhi,LA, many years ago.  Your daddy, Mr. Bill, was the salesman for Richie Grocery and became good friends with my parents. I can remember going with them to visit your parents at Layton Castle. Your mother sometimes came over with your daddy to visit. They were wonderful people.  Your daddy always gave me a Christmas present, and he is one of my favorite childhood memories.  I think I met you a couple of times, and your daddy always talked about you  I was an only child too.I remember your grandmother's house in Mer Rouge,as we went there with them one time.  I had completely lost contact with your mother many years ago, but have often wondered about her. In fact,my husband asked me one day when I was talking about something, if Mr. Bill's wife was still living. Your parents even came to my wedding 44 years ago.  I saw the obit online.  We live near Austin,TX, now,and I wanted to tell you that you are in my thoughts and prayers.  Seeing her name really brought back memories.  We have good friends in Springdale...I saw where some of your famly is there.  Well, I have rambled on long enough  I just wanted you to know how much your parents meant to me. I was Jane McKibbens..My daddy was called S.V.  I am sure you wouldn'tremember, but I saw your daddy every Tuesday afternoon for many many years.I know you have lots of good memories, and they will give you peace and comfort. Sincerely, Jane McKibbens Jones
