Funeral Services for Doris Jean Miller will be at 2:00 PM, Friday, April 15, 2016 at the Pentecostals of the Twin Cities in West Monroe, LA with Rev. Fred Foster, Rev. Donnie Copeland, and Rev. Jason Ramsey officiating. Interment will follow at Kilpatrick's Serenity Gardens under the direction of Kilpatrick Funeral Home of Monroe.Mrs. Miller was born on April 16, 1943 in Tillar, AR and passed away on April 12, 2016 in West Monroe, LA. She was a retired teacher for the Twin Cities Christian Academy. She was preceded in death by her husband, Henry Miller; and son, Robert Scott Miller.She is survived by her children, Andy Miller and wife, Dawn, Jody Miller and wife, Kayla, Eric Miller; daughter-in-law, Tammy Miller; grandchildren, Lawson Wagner, Dakota Miller, Elijah Miller, Samuel Miller, Nathanael Miller, Lillian Miller, and Jacob Miller; and great grandchild, Kaeran Blaize Wagner.Pallbearers will be: Lawson Wagoner, Jay Copeland, Samuel Miller, Elijah Miller, Dakota Miller, and Donovan Hitt.Honorary pallbearers will be: Nathanael Miller, Glenn Copeland, and Gleason Copeland.Visitation will be 5:00 PM until 8:00 PM, Thursday, April 14, 2016 at the Pentecostals of the Twin Cities Church.

My memory is the year we surprised her for her birthday at TCA (Twin-Cities Christian Academy) where she was a monitor for us students. I know she got frustrated going up and down the stairs on the bogus trips to the office so we could get her cake up there and set everything up. Well, she was surprised! She had the sweetest spirit of anyone I have ever known. She was a very special lady indeed and will be greatly missed.
