Mrs. Doris Hightower Lee Marsh Bernice, LA Kilpatrick Funeral Home Ruston, LA Funeral Services for Mrs. Doris Hightower Lee Marsh, age 89, of Bernice, Louisiana will be held at 11:00 AM Tuesday, July 17, 2007 at the First Baptist Church in Bernice. Officiating will be Rev. David Weeks with burial to follow at Weldon Baptist Church Cemetery under the direction of Kilpatrick Funeral Home in Ruston. Mrs. Marsh was born on June 2, 1918 in Summerfield, Louisiana and passed away on July 15, 2007 in Bernice, Louisiana. Mrs. Marsh was an active member of the First Baptist Church in Bernice. She also retired from the Union Parish School District as a school bus driver. She was preceded in death by her husbands, Ershal N. Lee and Fred W. Marsh, Sr. She is survived by her children: Ronald Kenneth Lee and wife, Sarah of Hot Springs, AR; Jerry L. Lee and wife, Annette of Oxford, MS; Carolyne Pankey and husband, Harry of Monroe, LA; and Jane Grafton and husband, Dr. Hoye Grafton of Ruston, LA. Two step-sons: Fred W. Marsh, Jr. and wife, Anne of Dallas, TX and John F. Marsh and wife, Nancy of Junction City, AR. She is also survived by her sixteen grandchildren, twenty-eight great grandchildren, a special niece, Vergie Shealy, and numerous other nieces and nephews. Pallbearers will be: Jon Lee, Joe Pankey, Patrick Lee, Bo Grafton, Mitch Grafton, Fred Marsh III, Wes Marsh, and Scott Lautigar. Honorary Pallbearers will be deacons of First Baptist Church in Bernice. Visitation will be held on Monday, July 16, 2007 from 6 8 PM at First Baptist Church in Bernice.
