Donald R. Foote was born February 6, 1945 and passed away December 20, 2020. He was preceded in death by his parents Lloyd and Jewel Nelmarie Foote.
Donald was a fisherman and fished his entire life on D’arbonne with his brother Clinton. He loved the family fish fry’s and Foote family reunions. He was a painter. Donald painted images from his childhood and some special requests. He was a maker. Donald made everything from chairs to tools. If he couldn’t find something he’d make it himself. He was a true heart. A compassionate, lovely man of God who will be missed by all the family and friends.
Donald is survived by his daughters, Stephanie Hearne and Cynthia Murray and husband Willie; 5 grandchildren; Emily Roberts and husband Ben, Rachel Martinez, Logan Garner, Victoria and husband Jaron Sistrunk and Vincent Oden; 6 great-grandchildren; 5 siblings; Clinton Foote and Barbara, Nancy Reppond and husband Benny, Cheryl Antley and husband Goree, David Foote and wife Jeannie and Othia Remore and husband David.
Visitation will be held Tuesday, December 22, 2020 from 5:00 PM until 7:00 PM at Kilpatrick Funeral Home West Monroe.
A memorial service will be planned at a later date.
