I know the Plunk family personally and they have helped me so much over the years without question. What is really good about area towing is that they support Law Enforcement, and if you think it’s one hand washeing the other , it is not. There are strict regulations pertaining to Wreckers. And if one wrecker service is not doing the right thing they will shout it out. No one gets away with stealing... they will let you know if someone as much as gets what appears to be a leg up. I inspected wreckers and bothPlunks are at the top of the heap. Fairness to all breeds respect for the law. Right is always right. Wrong is never right, contrary to what many in this country believe. They not only helped me but will help all their fellow man. It’s dangerous work, if you think you got shafted. Don some greasy clothes and work non stop, seeing blood and mahem. Then volunteer your time on a Saturday when everyone else is dining or hanging, or couch sitting and arm quarter backing. I commended the good ones and shut down atleast two. It was not pretty, but they either were honest or they got sent packing. I guess this is not the proper place, and yet it is. I did not know this man and yet I did. Doing right is what most wrecker services do. Who will you call on a cold rainy night. It is only a few men capable of doing this work, not sure I could do it, but I’d be proud to have known him. The one that matters does. Come on home faithful servant you’re they next one on the wrecker list. Amen!

While I never had the privilege of meeting Mr. Plunk, I felt like I knew him because I knew his son, Don! Don spoke so often and was always so respectful and grateful to have been the son of Donnie Plunk. Anyone loved and honored that much by even their own children, I feel honored to call them friend! Mr Plunk, you did an awesome job bringing up your children and living a life they could pattern after. May the hand of God rest on your family and friends is our prayer.
