Funeral services for Donald Britt, 78, of West Monroe will be held at 2:00 PM, Tuesday, February 13, 2024 at Kilpatrick Funeral Home, West Monroe with Dr. Mark Fenn and Dr. Woods Watson officiating. Interment will follow at Beulah Cemetery, Calhoun, LA. Visitation will be held from 1:00 P.M. until 2:00 P.M. at Kilpatrick Funeral Home, West Monroe.

Donald was born December 30, 1945 in Ruston, LA and passed away February 9, 2024 in Monroe, LA. He was retired from Louisiana Land Bank. Donald was a member of the First Baptist Church of West Monroe and served in the United States Army. He was a volunteer and traveled with Rolling Hills Disaster Relief and Samaritan’s Purse. Donald loved to hunt, fish, hike, bike or anything outdoors. He and Kathy enjoyed spending many months every year visiting their daughter and her family in Oregon.

Donald was preceded in death by his parents, Melvin and Lois Britt and son, Eric Alan Britt.

Donald is survived by his loving wife of 47 years, Kathy Spillers Britt; daughter Holly Britt Chandler and husband Curran; granddaughter, Riley Chandler; brothers, James Robert Britt and wife Gloria and Roger Lynn Frazier Britt and his wife Debbie.
