Funeral services for Donald Edward Bradshaw, 77, of Calhoun, Louisiana will be held at 2:00 P.M. on Tuesday, April 30, 2024 at First Baptist Church, Calhoun. Rev. Neil Everett will officiate. Interment will follow at Roselawn Memorial Gardens in Calhoun under the care and direction of Kilpatrick Funeral Homes in West Monroe. Visitation will be from 1:00 P.M. until time of service.
Donald was born April 30, 1946, in Rayville and passed away April 26, 2024, in Calhoun, Louisiana. He served in the United States Air Force during Vietnam and retired from Entergy after 34 years of loyal service. Donald loved working with his hands, woodwork and building things. He loved being outside at his home and working in his garden. He also enjoyed to hunt and fish. Donald was a lover of gospel and country music and never forgot a lyric. He loved his family and was always ready to give to anyone in need. Donald was a Deacon at First Baptist Church of Calhoun for many years. He was preceded in death by his parents, Cletus and Nettie Bradshaw; sisters, Louginia Glass, Louise Manholland, Kathleen Eager, Thelma Gill, Linda Kay Mock, Mary Jane Copeland; and brother, Thomas Wade Bradshaw.
Donald is survived by his loving wife, Gayle Bradshaw; son, Clay Bradshaw; daughter, Crystal Gill and her husband Jeremiah; grandchildren, Cameron Bradshaw, Noah, Eli and Evie Mae Lord; brothers, Buddy Bradshaw and his wife Ida Bell, John Bradshaw and his wife Julie; sisters, Annette Guimbellot, Betty Evans, Jeanette Bichsel and her husband Chuck; numerous nieces and nephews; along with many other cherished family and friends.
Pallbearers will be Mickey Hooks, Jeremiah Gill, Cameron Bradshaw, Noah Lord, Eli Lord and Tyler Cooper.
