Memorial Services for Diana Marie Tyl, age 69, will be Sunday, July 23, 2023, at 4:00 PM in the chapel of Kilpatrick Funeral Home, 1200 Lamy Lane, Monroe, LA. Visitation will occur at the funeral home from 1:00 PM until 4:00 PM Sunday, July 23, 2023. Pastor Ron Lowe will officiate the service which is under the direction and care of Kilpatrick Funeral Homes.
Diana was born August 23, 1953 in Las Banas, California and passed from this earthly life at her home in Monroe on Thursday, July 20, 2023. She was preceded in death by her husband, Gary Tyl, her father William Daniels as well as her infant brother, William Daniels, Jr.
Those left to miss her from their lives include her partner, John Zumo, her mother, JoAnn Daniels and daughter, Monica Sikes with husband, Jeff. Sisters Rebecca Wantiez (Bill), Joan Motley (Mark) and brother, John Daniels (Kristine) also mourn her passing. In addition, Diana leaves behind 3 Grandchildren, Stormie Broussard (Precious), Jordan Wallace (Sweetie), and Elijah Sikes (Tater) as well as 2 Great-Grandchildren named Eleanor Broussard and Vincent Broussard.
Diana loved being with her family and close friends. She enjoyed the outdoors and loved to travel, especially to the beach. She was a wonderful cook and took pride in her home. Diana was an artist, even selling art for a living. Diana won many body building competitions in her early adulthood. She loved to dance and listen to rock and roll. All pets were like family and she remained close and loyal to the people she loved. We will always picture her as the beautiful woman with unique fashion, nice jewelry and manicured nails. Please remember her as the free-spirited, generous, loving and loyal woman she was.
