My daughter Jennifer and I met Diana years ago and instantly became frieds. She was such a dear person and loved her Lord. We used to laugh and joke and say "can't wait to get to heaven because we will all be skinny". I can see her now looking down on us smiling and saying "look at me now". John - you may remember this when I had my total knee surgery, she came to my house several times to do my nails -we had a running joke about her being the 'potato salad lady'. Please know you are in our prayers and will deeply miss Diana.

God smiled on me when he brought Diana into my life almost 13 years ago at a nail salon in Gardendale. It all began with a simple fill in and our friendship just blossomed from there. We had our same routine every other Saturday that began with a bacon, egg and cheese sandwich with Dr. Pepper from Our Place. We would talk, laugh, cry, sing and pray. Diana was the kindest, caring, most loving Christian woman I knew. She talked about her family back home in West Monroe all the time and always expressed her love for them. She cared deeply about her family of friends in Alabama. Always making sure they were having a good day and keeping their best interest at heart. I know I am a better person for knowing Diana. I am going to miss walking in the room and seeing that big smile and the joy she brought to my life. After the passing of her father she would mention that she wasnâÄôt scared about death. Diana would say that when it was her time and the Lord was ready to call her home she was ready. I know that she is smiling down on us now and is rejoicing to be home with her Heavenly Father and her dad. One of her favorite songs was âÄúI Can Only ImagineâÄù by Mercy Me. Now she is getting to live it. She is surrounded by his glory, standing in his presence, singing Hallelujah and forever worshiping our Lord and Savior. I love you and will forever miss you my sweet Diana. John 14:1-3 Let not your heart be troubled: ye believe in God, believe also in me. 2 In my Father's house are many mansions: if it were not so, I would have told you. I go to prepare a place for you. 3 And if I go and prepare a place for you, I will come again, and receive you unto myself; that where I am, there ye may be also.

My prayers are with you & your family during this difficult time. I pray that God will give you the peace, comfort & strength that only He can give. Diana was a dear friend to me. I met her about 13 years ago when she started doing my nails & it's been a close friendship ever since. She was more than just a nail tech. She was a friend who you could laugh with, cry with, pray with, share deep talks with or just be silly with. I was fortunate enough to do all that with her. Even if she was having a bad day, she could always bring joy to a room. She loved the Lord with all her heart & was an awesome Christian lady. She cared about the spiritual well being of all her friends & family. I know she is rejoicing now & I can't wait for the day that I can see her again. Words cannot express how much she has meant to me over the years. We shared many things together & I am going to miss her terribly. But God has a plan & there was a great purpose for her life that will continue on.

Diana was a beautiful person and a beautiful light in a dark world. I come to know her nearly 16 years ago as I was going through a hard time spiritually. She attended church where my sister was a member and I come to know her very well. I spent many hours @ Diana's manicure table sharing my heart with her as she shared hers with me. We said many prayers together and she was such a faithful witness. We also rejoiced together over prayers answered and I will never forget the beautiful glow on her face when she would say, "It was Jesus". I know she is rejoicing in heaven with her savior and the thought brings me such joy. She will have many great rewards for the love she poured out to those in need and for the love she shared with family and friends. I was so blessed that she called me "friend" and my life has been full knowing her as one. We are hoping to attend her memorial in Louisiana on Thursday and Friday. Much Love and Prayers to all her family.

I am so verry sorry to hear about Diana's sudden passing. She and I met may years ago, before the birth of my son, when I actually made time to have my nails done. I so enjoyed my weekly visits! I always loved being around her. She just had a way to make everyone in the room feel special and a part of what was going on. We also had a LA connection as my inlaws resided in Calhoun prior to their deaths are were also buried in Roselawn. After returning from her father's funeral, she told me that he was buried very close to my Mother and Father in law. While I cannot be there on Friday, I will be thinking of you all.

I met Diana several years ago through the salon she was working with at the time. We had a West Monroe connection and always had the best time talking. I was fortunate enough to be in her current shop the other day and took my boys back to see her as it has been a couple of years since she had been around them. Typical 13 yr old boys were embarrassed but I am so glad we did given losing Diana so suddenly. She was greatly loved and will be greatly missed.
