DeWayne Walker, 66 of Monroe, passed away Thursday, March 4, 2021. Graveside services will be held at 2:00 P.M., Sunday, March 7, 2021 at Kilpatrick’s Serenity Gardens. Visitation will be held from 4:00 P.M. until 6:00 P.M., Saturday, March 6, 2021 at Kilpatrick Funeral Home ~ West Monroe.
DeWayne was born June 11, 1954 in Winnfield, Louisiana. He was employed by Graphic Packaging for 35 years and he loved to hunt, fish, and take road trips. DeWayne was preceded in death by his mother, Dorothy Laverne Evans Walker and his brother-in-law, Terry Lenard.
Dewayne is survived by his wife Regina Hammond Walker; father, Charles Walker (Margie); children, David Walker (Kristi), Heather Rogers (Mark), and Chris White; five grandchildren, Austin, Jackson, Colton, Jordan, and Megan; one great-granddaughter, Lilly; siblings, Lynn Walker (Gina), LaRhonda Lenard; brother-in-law, Wayne Dale Hammond (Darlene) and special nephews and nieces Jason and Justin Lenard and Jarod and Shelby Walker.
Pallbearers will be Chris White, Donnie Tillman, Clay Smith, Johnny McDowell, Jason Lillo, and Michael Meeks. Honorary pallbearers will be Danny Rowton, Teddy Guidry, Lenard Chatham, and Thomas Wayne Hutson.
