Funeral services for Dennis Homer Love, Sr. of West Monroe will be held Thursday, September 21, 2023 at 2:00 P.M.  in the chapel of Kilpatrick Funeral Home West Monroe. Interment will follow at Roselawn Memorial Gardens. Visitation will be held Thursday from 12:30 P.M. until service time at 2:00 P.M. under the care and direction of Kilpatrick Funeral Home West Monroe.

Dennis was born March 17, 1941 and passed away September 18, 2023. He loved to spend time with his family, grandchildren and great-grandchildren. Dennis loved working in the yard with his tractor. You could always depend on Dennis being there for family and friends. He loved to travel and spending time with his beloved pets, Paco and Shakey. Dennis was preceded in death by his mother LaVada Robinson; step-father Chester Robinson; father Luther Lee Love; brothers Gary Wayne Love, Daniel Ira Love and his twin brother Douglas Lee Love.

Dennis is survived by his wife Rebecca Brady Love; children Rachel Love Stevens and husband Rob, Candace Cornwell and husband Ralph, LaVada Denise Fonseca, Dennis Love Jr., and Dusty Campbell; 13 grandchildren and  10 great-grandchildren; sister Sharon Bastean and husband Pete; brothers Robert Palmer and Earl Love and wife Karen; numerous nieces and nephews.

Serving as pallbearers will be Tommy McKee, Jr, Adam Larche, Noah Larche, Aedan Campbell, John Luke Cornwell and Dusty Campbell.

Serving as honorary pallbearers Tommy Mims, James Dickey, David Hall and Patrick Kelly.
