Graveside services for Dennis Chatham, 57, of West Monroe, LA will be held at 10:00 AM, Friday, October 8, 2010 at Concord Cemetery. Billy Mac McBride, Sr. will be officiating under the direction of Kilpatrick Funeral Home West Monroe, LA. Mr. Chatham was born November 30, 1952 in Monroe, LA and passed away October 5, 2010 in Monroe, LA. He loved woodworking and hunting with his brothers and sister. Mr. Chatham was proud that he was the first of 3 generations to be members of Boy Scout Troop 27 in West Monroe. His family is carrying on the traditions of scouting. He is survived by his loving wife and high school sweetheart of 39 years Carolyn Glover Chatham; daughters, Candace Lea Chatham, Nickie Crowe and husband Heath; grandsons, Chandler and Bailey Crowe; mother, Ruth Chatham; sister, Beth Wilhite and husband Alton; brothers, Lenard Chatham and wife Martha, Greg Chatham and wife Felicia; mother-in-law, Edna Glover; sister-in-law, Lois Ann McCarty and husband Terry, Lisa McBride and husband John; numerous nieces and nephews; very special family friend, Stanley Mac King. Pallbearers will be Heath Crowe, Russ Hatten, Alton Wilhite, Lloyd Chatham, Gary Thomas, and Ray Hatten. Honorary pallbearers will be Chandler Crowe , Bailey Crowe and Stanley King. Visitation will be Thursday from 5:00 PM until 7:00 PM at Kilpatrick Funeral Home West Monroe. Memorials may be made to the Boy Scout Troop 27 in care of Faith United Methodist Church, West Monroe.
