Debra Ann Jackson, age 63, of West Monroe, often called “D.J.” departed from this life to be with her Lord and Savior, Jesus Christ, Tuesday morning, December 29, 2020 in West Monroe, LA. Debra was born June 21, 1957 in Monroe, LA.
She is survived by one sister, Dee Wire (husband, Dan) of Port St. Lucie, FL; one brother, Wade Jackson of West Monroe, LA., and many nieces, a nephew; many other cherished family and friends.
Debra was predeceased by her parents, Oscar and Alice Jackson of Monroe, LA; brothers, Jimmy Donald Jackson of Bastrop, LA; Richard Jackson of Monroe, LA; and Randy Jackson of Monroe, LA; one half-brother, Bobby Ray Jackson (wife, Ruby) of Buna, TX; one half-sister, Betty J. Freeman (husband, Billy Ray) of Natchez, MS.
Debra was such a joy to so many people. She was greatly loved and cared for by many caregivers at Pinecrest, Grayson, Cooley, Ridgecrest, and Hospice. We thank each of you for the love and care you gave her over the years. She was truly a blessing, and God provided for her unending care. Now she is at her Heavenly home.
Graveside services will be Saturday, January 2, 2021, at 1:00 p.m. at Mulhearn Memorial Park Cemetery in Monroe, LA., under the direction of Kilpatrick Funeral Home. Rev. Scott Jackson will officiate the service.
