As I have felt since Dale's passing, a light has gone out in the world, and this also as I've said. He will be sorely missed in this life, but I will look forward to the one beyond exaltation, when I might greet my brother again. I know I will miss his warm smile and greeting which I always returned to Dale, in the realm wherein we served the Lord's children in this corner of Zion, shoulder to shoulder. My deepest condolences to the Anderson family. Families can be together forever thanks to the plan, our Father in Heaven, and our Savior Jesus Christ. Your friend and brother always, Brent Boyd

May his strength be added to your own as you continue building family traditions and memories, for Dale will not be far away from those he loves. Until you meet again. . . Oops! Sorry Colleen. Our mission was in 1996, obviously not 1964. Apologies. Paul Berrett

Dear Colleen and family, Our daughter, Cynthia Boyle, called to tell us of Dale's passing. We served a mission in Winnfield in 1964. Part of that time Dale had a High Counsel assignment to the Winnfield Ward. He and I worked closely together on ward records, and often he would come to our apartment and eat with us after the block. We really loved and appreciated Dale. We send our love and condolences. Cynthia has enjoyed working with you, Colleen. May God bless you. Love, Paul and Lillian Berrett

I am saddened to see that Dale has passed. The two of you were already veteran band parents when we arrived, and I was very impressed with the Anderson kids I knew: Kristin, Robert, Lauren & Becca. The apples don't fall far from the tree. May God bless and comfort you in your loss.

I had Dr Anderson for a number of classes at Louisiana Tech. He always encouraged learning outside of the classroom and was one of the few professors that required that we go to the library and research on the subject of the class. This skill is invaluable when you begin practice as an engineer and I remember being thankful I had that experience on my first project out of school. He was always very eager to help solve problems and help you work through solutions. His tests were tough, but always involved applications interesting to students. I remember him getting excited when he would talk about applications in failure analysis and how it related to what we were studying. He will be missed, Nick Judice âÄì Mechanical Engineer
