Funeral services for Crin Del Henry, 55, of West Monroe will be held at 12:00 noon, Wednesday, November 21, 2012 at St. Paschal's Church. Father Frank Coens and Bro. Ricky Baker will be conducting the ceremony. Interment will follow at Hasley Cemetery under the direction of Kilpatrick Funeral Home West Monroe. Crin Del was born July 17, 1957 in Springhill, LA and passed away November 18, 2012 in West Monroe, LA. She is the daughter of Ellis and Ione Cooper of Springhill, LA. Crin Del was a graduate of Springhill High School and Northeast Louisiana State College. She was preceded in death by her parents; Ellis and Ione Cooper; siblings; Ellis O'Neal Cooper, Jr., Louis Michael Cooper and nephews, Kelly Mitchell O'Neal and Alexander Evans Cooper. Crin Del loved her family, dogs, and life, and loved the staff and participants of ARCO. She brought levity wherever she went, and lived life to the utmost, and she died as she lived, enjoying life. Crin Del is survived by her husband, James Daniel Henry; sons; Joseph Nathaniel Henry and James Nicholas Henry; mother-in-law; Reba Dean Henry and sister-in-law; Ginger Edenfield; Sister; Nancy Cooper Oliver and husband Saul Louis Oliver; brother, Patrick Brooks Cooper and wife Susan Mayo Cooper; brother, John Stephen Cooper and wife Debbie Moore Cooper, brother, Donald Paul Cooper and wife Anita Evans Cooper; and numerous nieces, nephews and friends whom she dearly loved. Visitation will be held Tuesday from 5:30pm until 8:00 pm and Wednesday from 10:00 am until 11:15 am at Kilpatrick Funeral Home, West Monroe, LA. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to ARCO, 901 North 4th ST. Monroe, LA 71201. “When I was a kid I do not recall anticipating what I would be when I grew up. I had vague notions of what would be fun, but no real direction. I did not analyze the reason for my care free attitude but supposed there was just too much wonder in every day to waste my enjoyment on pondering. Today I try for that “in the moment”. Now I know that the reason it is possible is faith that the next will be taken care of, so there is no real need to fret. Today I gladly let the Big Fella drive.” Crin Del Henry November 3, 2012

I will never meet a nicer person than Crin Del. She will be so greatly missed.

Crin Del will be remembered by many as a very special person. She was a friend from childhood and although I hadn't seen her in a long time I always knew she was still a friend. She blessed numerous people here on Earth and is watching over many more from Heaven.

To the Family of Crin Del and to the Cooper Families: It is difficult for me to believe that someone so close to the Sterling Family has left us. It seems like yesterday that we were all back in Springhill, going to SHS and attending Mass at Sacred Heart. Crin Del will always be remembered as a truly Wonderful Friend, Wife, Mother, Sister, and Aunt to us all. I am so very sorry for your loss and I know she is in Heaven making it a better place. My thoughts and prayers are with the family. I will always remember Crin Del and the beautiful person she was on the outside and on the inside. Our SHS 1975 class has lost a very dear classmate.

I have not been in touch with Crin Del in many years but I am sorry for you loss. I am from Springhill and was a part of the Class of '74.

Crin Del was is a precious friend. In high school I regarded her as my best friend. Her humor, warmth, goodness and understanding heart were the 'stuff' of her friendship. She introduced me to her wonderful family, to her friends when I moved to Springhill during the awkward time of junior high. I look forward to seeing her in heaven and maybe she will greet me with that feather boa. To think of her will always bring me to smile inside and out. I love you my friend.

There is an eventual end to the grief. We will then look back and understand the honor we were given to have had this wonderful person in our lives for the short time we were allowed. Bless the family, friends, and acquaintances whose lives she touched as they move forward and take their memories of Crin with them to be a solace.

I am so sorry to hear of the loss of Crin Del! We were in high school together and FB friends of recent. My fondest memories of her were when she "tolerated" me in the French Horn section in concert band. She carried the section while I mainly faked it! Crin Del had many sayings each day, but my favorite is: "I love the wind kicking up, the Saints kicking off & should we get a fall, brief if at all, the color of the season. But the greatest blessing is that now I don't have to look too far ahead-- rather, be blessed to wake woo & be wowed by each day!" Blessed to have had her in my life! "Big Fella" needed an Angel and chose Crin... RIP my friend...

I moved away but I never forgot Crin Del. I was so happy to find her on facebook a while back. I did let her know that she left a mark on my heart so very many years ago. It was wonderful getting to know her all over again. She was still the beautiful, positive, energetic, loving and giving person I always remembered. I guess we all try to explain these kinds of things in ways we can understand. I like to think that "the Big Fella" just wanted to see her and talk with her in person and, of course, put her to work "up there". WHAT AN AMAZING WOMAN! Love to you all.

Crin Del was my first friend. All of my happy childhood memories include her. I am so very sorry for your loss. She was a precious gift from God. I am forever thankful for having her bless my life.
