I have so many fond memories of Mr. Thompson. He was so much more than my barber...he was a family friend and my friend. He was truly one of Ruston's legends. I moved away from Ruston in'94, but on return visits home, Thompson's Barber Shop was on my places to visit....even if I didn't need a hair cut. It brings me comfort knowing I will be able to see my old friend again in heaven one glorious day. God bless Miss Melba and the rest of the Thompson crew. David and Michelle Hammock
