She was a driving force behind the expansion and continuing success of the Army Community Service Volunteer Corps. During her tenure, she developed and maintained a vigorous, service-oriented Volunteer Corps whose fundamental value was unwavering support to the Fort Irwin Community. Her actions epitomize volunteer service and a sincere belief in both Army Community Service and the Fort Irwin Community. Her distinguished and monumental record of over 1000 highly productive volunteer service hours reflect distinct credit upon herself, the National Training Center, and the United States Army.
