Memorial Services for Clyde Martin Huff will be held at Kilpatrick Funeral Homes Chapel in Ruston, LA. Visitation and Service will be on Wednesday, November 09, 2022 from 4:00 – 6:00 P.M. with Service to follow.
Marty was born on May 24, 1961, in Bernice, LA to Gerald and Marjorie Huff. Marty graduated from Bernice High and LA Tech University. Over the course of his life Marty has assumed several different job titles all of which allowed him to do what he loved, helping others. His latest title was Assistant to the Director at the Rural Health Clinic. He loved his job, and most importantly he loved his coworkers like his family. Marty was a loving, kind and gentle soul. He enjoyed life, family and spending time with many friends. He was always there to brighten the lives of others. He had a contagious smile and the warmest hugs. His favorite past time was cooking. He was most famous for his chicken and dressing. He not only prepared it for Thanksgiving dinner with family at Aunt Sues, Christmas with his sister and her family but many friends as well. He took pride in preparing it each year and even already has this years ready. This will allow him to celebrate one more time with his family and friends.
Marty is preceded in death by his parents, Gerald and Marjorie Huff, brothers Pat and Vance Huff, and sister, Hollie Huff.
He is survived by sister, Leslie and her husband Bill Bowman, niece, Emily and her husband Justin Walker, nephews Peyton, Tristen, and Tanner Huff and Caleb Harrison, Aunt Sue and husband, Jewitt Farley, great niece Hollyn Walker and great nephew Becks Walker, Sister in Law, Sherri and husband Mark Taylor. Best friends Michael and Anita Griffith, Tom Grant, and last but not least his beloved fur babies, Buster, Macy and Momma.
His heart of this world may have failed but his spirit was stubbornly strong:
