(Proverbs 31:28a)Funeral services for Climmie Clydell Johnson Nelson, 90, Homemaker, of Eros, are at 3:00 PM, Thursday, February 13, 2014 at Oak Grove Baptist Church in Eros with Reverend Mike Barnett and Reverend Ray Jones officiating. Interment will follow at Roselawn Memorial Gardens under the direction of Kilpatrick Funeral Home, West Monroe.Mrs. Nelson was born January 25, 1924 in Dry Prong, LA and passed away February 9, 2014 at her home in Eros. She was a member at Oak Grove Baptist Church. She was preceded in death by her husband of 50 years, Rupert Bon Nelson, Sr.; a son, Rupert Bon Nelson, Jr.; grandson, Chris Nelson; her Papa, William Donner Johnson; her Momma, Bessie Johnson; two sisters, Ruby Hudgins and Estelle Modisette; and a brother, Leonard Johnson.She is survived by two sons, Jim Nelson and wife Eva and Doug Nelson and wife Paula; four daughters, Wanda Franks and husband Bill, Diane Farmer and husband Ken, Anita Nicewander and husband John, and Rita Watson and husband J.B.; 17 grandchildren, 29 great-grandchildren, 2 great-great-grandchildren and three soon to be born, one sister Mattie Jean Jones, one brother Huey Johnson and wife Fannie, and many nieces and nephews.Pallbearers will be Kenny Farmer, Matt Nelson, Ricky Nelson, Danny Nelson, Greg Franks, Trey Watson, Andrew Nicewander, and Timothy Nicewander.The family wishes to extend a special thanks to Herman and Jateen Lenard for making her 90th birthday special, Dr. Keopke and Dr. Sharp and the nurses and staff at GRMC, and to First Choice Hospice.Visitation will be from 5:00 – 8:00 PM on Wednesday, February 12, 2014 at Kilpatrick Funeral Home, West Monroe.
